The University is located at the Advanced Technology and Training Center (ATTC) in Warner Robins, GA, and seeks an experienced CNC programmer to support additive manufacturing and friction stir deposition projects. You will develop machining plans, program CNC machines, and create fixtures for wrought and additively manufactured parts.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years of CNC programming experience in metals.
Minimum 10 years using Mastercam to program CNC machining for complex 3-axis aerospace parts.
Minimum 5 years programming and operating 4th/5th axis machines.
Ability to read and interpret models, drawings, schematics, and reports.
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills with team members at all levels.
U.S. citizen due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal CNC programmer for advanced manufacturing technologies.
Develop machining plans, CNC programming and machining of wrought and additively manufactured components and fixtures.
Mentor junior technicians and guide less experienced staff.
Support government customers and select industry partners as needed.
