Job summary

Medtronic's Warsaw production facility is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to design and optimize machining programs for spinal implants and brain/ENT components. You will develop setup sheets and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

This role requires deep expertise in CAM/CAD tools and various machine platforms, along with a strong adherence to GMP and ISO standards. Travel may be required to support manufacturing operations and tool provisioning.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAM/CAD software and tool design review.

Responsibilities

• Develop all CNC machining program code.
• Review drawings and initiate tool/CNC program changes.
• Provide technical support to improve cycle-time, yield, quality.
• Monitor instruments, collect data and perform on-line adjustments.
• Analyze malfunctions in instruments/control systems and resolve.
• Prepare reports using salvage tracking, trending and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain processes per SOPs and GMPs.
• Execute change control and CAPA activities.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams on risk management (pFMEA).
• Create conceptual designs for fixtures and tools; review with tooling team.
• Advise leadership on plant layout and capital equipment.
• Develop manufacturing setup sheets for new products.
• Assist with equipment acquisitions.
• Coordinate with suppliers on specs and delivery.
• Review drawings for manufacturability; initiate design changes.
• Support validation and qualification studies.
• Assist in developing strategy with teams; support product launches.
• Lead training for new CNC programs and processes.
• Travel as required.
