Job summary

Endurance Energy seeks a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team building subsea geothermal hardware. You will develop CNC programs in Mastercam, set up and run multi-axis machines, and machine components from Titanium and Nickel-based alloys to tight tolerances.

You will collaborate with engineers to optimize part manufacturability and ensure on-time hardware milestones. You will own programs from release to production, troubleshoot issues in real time, and drive high-precision,

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on CNC programming and machining.
• Experience creating CNC programs in Mastercam or similar CAM systems.
• Experience machining Titanium, Inconel, and other nickel-based alloys.
• Strong 5-axis milling/mill-turn programming and machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in machining work.
• High ownership mindset; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs in CAM systems such as Mastercam for milling, turning, and mill-turn work.
• Machine precision parts in Titanium, Inconel, and other nickel-based alloys to aerospace-type tolerances.
• Select work holding, tool holding, cutting tools, and machining strategies.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including 5-axis milling and/or mill-turn machines.
• Prove out new programs and refine feeds, speeds, and strategies to improve cycle time and tool life.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of machined parts using precision measurement tools.
• Identify and resolve fit-up, tolerance, and machinability issues in real time.
• Drive clean, organized, and repeatable machining processes on the floor.
• Document setups, programs, and issues for engineering and QA traceability.
• Support rapid prototyping and iteration under tight timelines.
• Collaborate with design and integration engineers to improve part manufacturability.
• Maintain a safe working environment, machines, and tooling.
