Belcan is seeking a CNC Programmer Specialist in Glendale, AZ (ZIP 85307) to coordinate complex programming for numerically controlled machine tools from design to finished part. You will ensure parts meet dimensional specs and optimize throughput.

Responsibilities include selecting tools, calculating speeds and feeds, preparing tape or CNC data, updating programs for engineering changes, and mentoring junior staff. A strong background in NC programming and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of related trade school program or AA with NC programming emphasis.
• 7+ years of directly related NC programming experience.
• Extensive knowledge of NC programming principles and CNC language.
• Ability to read drawings and optimize tool paths.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify complex NC programs for machining parts.
• Select cutting tools and set speeds/feeds.
• Prepare and verify tape or CNC data against drawings.
• Lead projects and mentor less experienced staff.
