Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer in Garden Grove, CA, to create and optimize CNC programs for precision fasteners. You will collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and tooling teams to improve machine performance and reduce scrap.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of CNC programming and setup experience, preferably in fastener manufacturing. Proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, GD&T, and ERP/MES is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification preferred.
• Minimum five years of CNC programming and setup experience, preferably in fastener manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, test, and maintain CNC programs.
• Optimize cycle times, tooling utilization, and machine efficiency.
• Review blueprints, GD&T, routers, specifications, and work orders.
• Support machine setups, first article inspections, and process validations.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine issues.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets, tooling records, and program documentation.
• Support lean manufacturing, safety, and quality objectives.
