Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a CNC Program Engineer III to develop, optimize, and maintain complex CNC programs, tooling, and processes for aerospace fasteners. You will lead programming for multi-axis machines, select tooling, and validate processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have extensive CNC experience, knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens controls, and proficiency with CAD/CAM software, Lean manufacturing, and ERP systems. Relocation is authorized.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling design.
• Advanced knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls.
• Experience programming multi-axis CNC machines including turning centers and milling centers.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and aerospace manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis and multi-spindle equipment used in aerospace and precision fastener production.
• Translate engineering drawings and specifications into efficient CNC machining programs.
• Design, develop, and improve complex tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
• Validate new CNC programs through first-piece inspections, simulations, and production trials; adjust as needed.
