Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software; Autodesk Inventor and Gibbscam preferred.
• Ability to read engineering prints, including GD&T.
• Develop work-holding fixtures and select speeds/feeds for metals.
• Reading G-code is required; analyze instructions for tool selection and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Generates program code using CAM-Gibbs; runs simulations and conducts quality tests.
• Revises programs to eliminate errors and retest to ensure compliance with specs.
• Determines reference points, cutting paths, and dimensions; verifies against blueprints.
• Observes CNC machines on trials to ensure proper function and quality.
