Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
• Proven ability to program at the machine utilizing G-Code programming.
• Proven ability to measure parts with common metrology equipment.
• Ability to follow direction to achieve shop goals.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership.
• Available to work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Program, Setup and Operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal machining centers utilizing G-Code programming.
• Program, Setup and Operate CNC Turning centers utilizing G-code programming.
• Select proper tooling to machine components as needed.
• Read and understand machining prints.
• Identify worn tooling in order to replace or adjust offsets.
• Machine components to customer supplied prints and tolerances.
• Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to check machined components.
• Machine components to better than +/- .002 tolerances.
