Job summary

Qualifications

• Five+ years direct experience in lathe, VTL, and 3/4 axis milling CNC programming.
• Experience processing nickel, cobalt, and titanium based alloys in aerospace machining.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Proficient in performing full set-ups, program edits, and holding high precision tolerances.
• Ability to program with CAM and manually as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead turning and milling programming development, instruction, and debugging tasks with engineering and machining leads.
• Directly support operations with CNC programming changes as needed.
• Directly support NPI development with new CNC programs.
• Collaborate with engineers on fixturing development.
• Work with CAD models for milling and turning validation.
• Collaborate with senior staff on various engineering initiatives.
