Job summary

Atlas Group seeks an experienced CNC Programmer Lead to drive aerospace programming initiatives. You will act as the senior technical advisor for the CNC programming group, design NC programs for large extrusion and hogout products, and optimize tooling and setup documentation for production.

The role requires strong G-code knowledge, ability to read customer drawings, and excellent communication under lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years aerospace programming experience.
• Experience programming 3 and 4 axis parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC programming team and provide expert guidance.
• Create NC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling projects.
• Verify NC programs and document setups for shop use.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming issues and production problems.
• Maintain and optimize master programming files and tooling.
