Qualifications

• Five years of CNC experience in a controlled industry (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.).
• Proficiency with CNC programming software MasterCAM and Hypermill.
• Solid modeling experience using SolidWorks is strongly preferred.
• Ability to edit and read G-code.
• CNC machining, measuring tools, and GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Determine and review customer part requirements.
• Develop models and documentation for machining fixtures with production engineering.
• Create standard work and procedures for a best-in-class machining operation.
• Define machining steps, process controls, and documentation with machinists.
• Generate CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5 axis milling, turning, and mill-turn.
• Read and edit G-code as required.
• Design tooling and fixturing for equipment.
• Identify/define cutting tooling for jobs.
• Manage projects from programming to production to meet deadlines.
• Use monitoring and measuring equipment for inspection.
