Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer, NX CAM for the Starlink program. The role requires proficient NX CAM programming to support machining operations, tool/die application, and complex surfacing.

You will collaborate with machinists, leads and engineering teams to improve productivity and implement process improvements. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in NX programming with multi-axis mills/lathe, and familiarity with Vericut, NC files, and setup sheets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in NX.
• Strong understanding of multi-axis milling and turning.
• Experience with tool and die applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC parts using NX CAM.
• Create and maintain setup sheets and revision control.
• Optimize machining programs for productivity and tool life.
• Collaborate with machinists, leads and engineering teams to improve manufacturability.
• Support Starlink product with graphite electrode programming.
