Tosoh SMD Inc. is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to create and maintain CNC programs for production and research. The ideal candidate will have extensive CNC programming and machining experience, proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software, and strong communication skills. This full-time position is located in innovative manufacturing facility in Grove City, OH, contributing to semiconductor materials for diverse industries.

Summary
The Senior CNC Programmer is responsible for creating CNC programs and machining routines utilizing automation technologies as well as updating and maintaining existing CNC programs. The CNC Programmer provides machining support to all areas of production as well as Research and Development areas.
Reporting Relationships
The Senior CNC Programmer reports to the Manufacturing Applications Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize the Siemens NX and Edgecam CAM software for generating CNC programs.
Write new CNC programs for all areas of production including new design projects for R&D.
Create automation routines for CNC machine tools utilizing Macro B programming.
Define and purchase new tooling as required for new jobs.
Develop and qualify tooling and machining processes.
Develop machining processes for production parts.
Create and maintain changes to set-up sheets for manufacturing.
Update existing CNC programs per the Change Order system.
Support employee suggestion system.
Support manufacturing during the CNC program prove out process.
Support machinist and machine operators.
Maintain master program files per established procedures.
Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.
Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.

Qualifications
Required, 5 years’ CNC programming experience.
Required, 10+ years machining experience.
Required, Macro B programming.
Required, Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software.
Preferred, Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering related program.
Preferred, post processor creation experience.
Preferred, tooling and process development experience.
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training is desirable.
Proficiency in computer utilization, Auto-CAD, MS Office.
Must have ability to read and understand blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Advanced math and computer skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to manage projects until completion with minimum supervision.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for brief periods of time.
