Zusammenfassung

Sanmina is seeking a CNC Machining Process Engineering Manager in Newark, CA to lead complex 4- and 5-axis machining processes for high-precision parts for semiconductor and aerospace applications. You will head design, NPI, and DFM/DFC feedback, driving process excellence and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor a team, establish KPIs, and push continuous improvements in cycle times, yields, and machine utilization, while coordinating with plant leadership on technology

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience creating CNC machining processes for very large parts.
• 3+ years of leadership managing CNC programmers or manufacturing engineers.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Expert-level understanding of 4- and 5-axis machining and CAD/CAM tools; proficient with Excel/PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead CNC programming resources and develop routing/work instructions.
• Direct the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to meet cost, schedule, and performance specs.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Cost (DFC) feedback to customers.
• Own the engineering processes ensuring part quality through robust process design and in-process inspection.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times, improve yields, and machine utilization.
• Maintain machining data accuracy and production documentation.
• Lead RCCA and structured problem solving.
• Plan and deploy new CNC machinery and material handling equipment.
• Mentor the engineering team and manage KPIs.
