Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a CNC Machining Process Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of complex machining processes for very large, high-precision parts using 4- and 5-axis CNC machines and CAD/CAM tools. You will drive NPI, DFM/DFC feedback, and manufacturing quality through robust process design and in-process inspection routines.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
  • Expert-level understanding of 4- and 5-axis machining and CAD/CAM software tools.
  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CNC programming team and develop routers and work instructions.
  • Direct NPI process with internal and external stakeholders to meet cost, schedule, and performance specs.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times, increase first-pass yields, and improve machine utilization.
  • Maintain process documentation and RCCA-driven problem solving to ensure quality.
