Insight Global's client is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator to set up and run press brake equipment that forms sheet metal into precise parts. You will read blueprints, program tooling, and verify parts against specifications with emphasis on quality and safety.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, programming bend sequences, inspecting parts with precision gauges, and maintaining production targets while minimizing scrap.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC press brake experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Familiar with bend theory and behavior of materials like stainless steel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate safely around equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form sheet metal to specification.
• Read blueprints and work orders, including GD&T callouts.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling for each job.
• Program bend sequences and verify with offline software or machine control.
• Calculate bend allowances and compensate for springback.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Maintain targets while minimizing scrap and rework.
• Move materials safely using cranes or forklifts.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
