Job summary

HEARTLAND FABRICATION LLC is seeking a machine operator to set up and run conventional or NC machines for fabrication of parts. The role requires reading tape measures to the 16th inch, determining operation sequences, and running material to production plans in a heavy industrial setting.

Responsibilities include performing daily machine maintenance, quality checks, and ensuring safety and material flow. Overtime is an essential function of this position, with exposure to outdoor and loud

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Ability to operate overhead crane and safely run machines.
Ability to determine part dimensions, sequence of operations and setup.
Ability to read tape measure to the 16th and verify results.
Run/cut material according to production plan and meet production schedule.
Perform daily checks, maintenance, and clean-up of machines and work areas.
Identify and mark parts, maintain storage and inventory for WIP material.
Troubleshoot to operator level; ensure safety and quality standards.
