The candidate will develop and optimize programs, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and drive improvements in efficiency and part quality while maintaining safety standards. This full-time position is based on site in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience in metal stamping, tooling, or die manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or GibbsCAM.
• Strong knowledge of G-code, feeds and speeds.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production
• Optical inspection system experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC milling programs using Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar CAM software
• Program CNC Vertical Machining Centers for tooling components and precision-machined parts
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Create setup documentation including tooling, machine setups, tool paths, pickup points, and machining requirements
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to reduce downtime and maintain production flow
• Improve machining processes to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality
• Support optical inspection programming and automated quality verification
• Monitor cutting tool performance and assist with tooling inventory and purchasing
• Maintain accurate CNC programs and make updates based on engineering or process changes
• Partner with engineering, quality, production, and machine operators to resolve manufacturing challenges
• Follow established safety and quality standards
