Job summary

Anaheim Precision is seeking a senior CNC Mill Machinist III to lead complex CNC and manual milling setups for aerospace components in a high-precision shop. The role requires extensive experience, strong GD&T skills, and the ability to mentor junior machinists while upholding strict AS9100 quality standards.

The position offers $35-$45 per hour with full-time benefits, a collaborative team, and opportunities to optimize processes and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of milling experience in a precision manufacturing environment, aerospace experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimize complex CNC and/or multi-axis milling machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Develop setup strategies, select tooling, and design/modify fixtures as needed.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections per AS9100 and customer specs.
• Maintain tolerances of ±0.0002" to ±0.0005" typical in aerospace applications.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Make program edits at the machine (G-code) and suggest improvements.
• Mentor Mill Machinist I and II team members and ensure safety compliance.
