The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the field, an associate degree in a related technical discipline, and proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will guide projects, mentor technicians, and contribute to process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree in mechanical engineering technology, CAD or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in related field.
• Expertise in metalworking or the tool and die disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient use of moderately complex technical tools and lab equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and guides teams through technical projects and decisions.
• Develop and coordinate the completion of projects with minimal supervision.
• Assist project manager with project planning for the design and development phases of projects.
• Makes significant contribution to the training of technicians, engineering co-ops or entry-level engineers. Independently assist other technicians.
• Responsible for the guidance and completion of project work with moderate supervision.
