Job summary

Quad Martinsburg is seeking a Machinist to machine and repair prototype or production parts. You will operate CNC/Manual mills and lathes and other machines to meet quality standards, reading blueprints and using measuring equipment. The role requires five years of manual lathe/mill experience with 3-axis controls and knowledge of tooling, speeds, and feeds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in operation and set up of Manual Lathes, and Mills with 3 axis controls
• Some knowledge of CNC operations
• Ability to provide own Measuring Tools
• Be able to measure equipment and read Blueprints to inspect parts
• Apply knowledge of Tooling, Speeds, and Feeds used in Metal Working
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Lift or move up to 20 pounds regularly; lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Use measuring equipment and blueprints to meet specified tolerances and inspect parts.
• Apply tooling, speeds, and feeds knowledge to metalworking operations.
