Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a CNC Maintenance Mechanic III for Alsip, IL. The role focuses on planning, installing, and repairing CNC and manual machines with strong mechanical aptitude and safety adherence. Collaboration and adherence to company values are expected.

The candidate will interpret schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and lead tool and equipment installation while following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Onsite work with physical demands is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic machines.
• 3+ years maintenance experience with CNC and manual machine equipment.
• 2+ years troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and adhere to safety procedures to protect workers and property.
• Lead equipment installation, removal, or relocation.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and layouts.
• Apply Lock Out/Tag Out procedures during service.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and preventative maintenance.
