Job summary

C&M Precision Tech is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, mentor technicians, and drive downtime reduction across multiple production lines.

In this role you will coordinate with contractors, manage parts sourcing and POs, and continuously improve maintenance processes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams.
  • Strong multitasking across multiple priorities and projects.
  • Solid communication and collaborative skills.
  • Experience diagnosing CNC, Swiss, and lathe equipment.

  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Develop emergency repair plans and coordinate with Operations.
  • Create, track, and close work orders with accurate data.

C&M Precision Tech is looking for a skilled and driven Senior Maintenance Technician who doesn't just fix problems-but owns them, solves them, and prevents them from happening again. In this role, you'll lead maintenance efforts, tackle complex equipment challenges, and play a critical part in keeping our operations running at peak performance.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Oversight
  • Lead and support a team of Maintenance Technicians
  • Audit and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and practices
  • Act as the key point of contact for outside contractors and vendors
Hands-On Technical Work
  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues, minimizing downtime
  • Interpret and work from prints, schematics, and technical documents
Critical Problem Solving
  • Develop and execute emergency repair plans for high-priority equipment issues (coordinate with Operations, secure parts/tools, schedule repairs, and drive resolution)
  • Assess equipment condition and recommend repair or replacement strategies
Project & Process Management
  • Manage multiple maintenance projects while meeting deadlines
  • Create, track, and close work orders with accurate and actionable data
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes and documentation
Vendor & Parts Management
  • Research and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and repair vendors
  • Support purchasing activities, including parts sourcing and PO submissions
What You Bring
  • Strong experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Experience leading or mentoring maintenance teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with CNC, Swiss, and Lathe machine diagnostics and repair (preferred)
