Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Bridgeport, MI is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machinery and equipment. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble machines, support production, and improve safety alongside a proactive maintenance team.

The role requires strong mechanical skills and 5+ years in manufacturing, plus the ability to read drawings. Driver's license is required; journeyman or forklift certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Directly related experience in industrial or manufacturing mechanic role with 5+ years.
• Driver's license required and ability to obtain other certifications.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test CNC machinery and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Assist with installation, calibration, and setup of new CNC equipment.
• Determine root cause of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repair services.
• Read safety rules and technical manuals; write routine reports.
