Job summary

TotalEnergies in Woburn, MA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to program, set up and operate milling and turning centers for prototypes and production runs. You will source tooling, schedule maintenance, and support DFMs with senior staff.

You will read complex drawings and MBD files, mentor technicians, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing cell. US citizenship and background check required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with high technical aptitude for handling hardware, tools and fasteners.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals; strong geometry and math understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication; works well in a team and in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes safely and competently.
• Set up jobs for prototypes, first article and short-run production.
• Source materials and tooling from company-approved vendors.
• Schedule machine repairs when needed and assist lathe operators as needed.
• Read and interpret drawings, prints, and MBD files; participate in DFMs meetings.
• Mentor and educate technicians and engineers on manufacturing best practices.
• Maintain shop safety, order and cleanliness; support project design discussions.
