Qualifications
- Requires 5+ years of advanced machining experience.
- Strong CNC programming proficiency and interpretation of GD&T.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining strategies.
- Proven ability to lead setups and optimize processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead setup and operation of CNC/multi-axis machining centers.
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and quality.
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T per engineering specs.
- Determine machining methods, tooling strategies, and workholding.
- Troubleshoot complex issues; implement corrective actions.
- Perform advanced inspections and support root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement: cycle time & scrap reduction.
- Partner with Engineering on NPI and process validation.
- Train and mentor Machinist I/II employees.
- Develop standard work, setup sheets and best practices.
