Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Kingman, AZ is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support precision machining across repair, rebuild, and fabrication work. You will independently set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read drawings with GD&T, and ensure tight tolerances in a fast, job-shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school machining training preferred.
• Several years of CNC machining experience in a job shop, repair shop, or similar machining environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and machining calculations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently set up CNC mills and/or CNC lathes, including tooling, workholding, and offsets.
• Ability to read, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs; experience with G-code and M-code required.
• Strong understanding of speeds and feeds, cutting tools, materials, tolerances, surface finishes, and machining practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for one-off and low-volume work.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs.
• Maintain quality documentation and travelers.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to resolve questions.
• Mentor less-experienced machinists.
