Job summary

Tecomet in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate and set up CNC machines, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances while following GMP-like practices and document control. You will work on 1st shift Mon-Thu, maintain tooling, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have 3+ years of CNC experience, GED or higher, and associated training in tooling.

Qualifications

3+ years CNC machining experience.
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in a production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions.
Perform progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals where close tolerances must be maintained.
Change dull tooling and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
Ensure product quality by working to OOQ standards and using a range of measuring equipment.
Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
Record all activities in the job tracking system.
Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards within the work area.
