Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machine operation, lathe operation, and mill operation.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Proficiency in machine programming.
• Excellent mathematical skills for dimensions and tolerances.
• Strong mechanical skills for assembling, disassembling and repairing machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degree or machinist certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during manufacturing.
• Program machines for specific tasks to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Operate lathes and mills to manufacture parts per specifications.
• Use math to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Assemble, disassemble and repair machinery as needed.
• Provide expert advice on complex machining projects.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and implement processes.
• Keep knowledge updated on new technology and machinery to improve production.
