Job summary

P & F Industries is seeking a highly capable CNC Machinist III in Cranberry Township, PA. The role requires independent setup across multiple workcenters, writing and editing G-code, and ensuring part tolerance and surface finish from prints.

You will mentor junior machinists and drive cycle-time improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include proving out programs at the CNC control, selecting tooling, and collaborating with maintenance to resolve machine

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of CNC machining experience in a job-shop or low-to-mid-volume environment.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and read prints with GD&T.
• Experience in setup and proof-out for multiple machines and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups from scratch with proper workholding and offsets.
• Prove out new programs at the control and optimize toolpaths and feeds.
• Own dimensional quality at the machine using precision instruments.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T datums, and tolerance stacks accurately.
• Mentor and sign off junior machinists and prepare setup sheets.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance.
