Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate and set up CNC turning and milling centers at our Cranberry Township, PA facility. You will read prints, establish offsets, load programs, and verify first articles to ensure parts meet specifications.

This entry-level to mid-level role requires solid machining experience, attention to tolerances, and adherence to safety procedures. On-site work with standard shop hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of total relevant machining experience.
• Ability to set up proven CNC work from the print and hold tolerances.
• Experience with hand-held precision measuring equipment and shop math.
• Advancement to CNC Machinist II requires additional competencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups on established and moderately complex CNC turning and machining-center work.
• Read prints, identify dimensions and tolerances, verify documentation.
• Make routine edits at the control within authorized limits.
• Select tooling and workholding from established lists.
• Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Follow safety rules and maintain documentation.
• Load programs and perform first-article checks.
• Apply GD&T to interpret requirements.
