Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co. is a long‑standing leader in Aerospace and Precision Machining, seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and run a variety of machines from morning through a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM shift.

Pay ranges $29.00–$40.00 per hour, DOE, with full benefits and a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork. The successful candidate will read blueprints, edit CNC programs, load tooling, and ensure parts meet spec using precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in CNC machining and setup.
• Ability to independently setup and run a group of machines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in reading inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, surface plate).

Responsibilities

• Set up cell machines, establish tool strings, and manage production.
• Troubleshoot and adjust programs and tooling as needed.
• Edit programs at the machine and save to CAD/CAM memory.
• Read blueprints and determine tooling requirements and processes.
• Load programs, set machine controls, and monitor machining for conformance.
• Maintain setup sheets, inspect parts, and ensure adherence to SPC charts.
