Job summary

Therm-x of California is seeking skilled CNC machinists at all levels for our Modesto facility on swing and day shifts. The role requires setup and operation of Doosan, Mazak, Okuma and Haas machines with multi-axis capability and tight tolerances.

Candidates should have strong reading of blueprints and engineering prints, G-code knowledge, and experience with precision measuring tools. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proven setup and operation on listed multi-axis machines (Doosan, Mazak, Okuma, Haas).
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling and cutting parameters.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to job requirements.
• Work with multi-axis and mill/turn equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets.
• Install tooling, set work offsets, load programs, and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain machines and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with programming, quality, and production teams.
