Job summary

VDL Industries Gainesville LLC in Flowery Branch, GA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist. You will program, set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with 3-axis/5-axis machines, proficiency in GD&T, G-code editing, and working with DMG Mori, Siemens, and Fanuc controls. Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, on-site position.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years experience with CNC mills (3- & 5-axis) and lathes.
• Experience with DMG Mori, Siemens or Fanuc controls highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and drawings to plan machining operations.
• Interpret, modify, and optimize G-code for accuracy.
• Set up mills and lathes with proper tooling and fixturing.
• Load materials, apply offsets, and run probes.
• Inspect first parts and monitor quality throughout runs.
• Maintain logs and ensure safety and cleanliness.
