Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on CNC Machining Technician to join 2nd and 3rd shift. You will set up and operate CNC centers, change tooling, and adjust offsets to sustain high-precision parts. Siemens-controlled machines are highly preferred and you will support continuous improvement while maintaining safety.

The role requires reading engineering docs, performing measurements, and driving quality with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T limits.
• Knowledge of Siemens or Fanuc CNC controls is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including turning, grinding, and heat-treating equipment.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and first-piece validations to ensure production readiness.
• Independently change tooling, replace inserts and cutting tools, and make wear and geometry offset adjustments.
• Monitor machining performance and apply tooling/offset corrections to maintain quality.
• Read blueprints and engineering specifications, inspect parts with precision tools, and document results.
