Job summary

Moog is seeking a Machine Repair Technician III for the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will troubleshoot and repair complex CNC machinery, install new equipment, and support production with routine maintenance to maximize uptime.

A candidate typically has 5 years of repair or machinist experience, a high school diploma, and ideally an associate degree in electrical technologies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Electrical Technologies or related skilled-trades degree highly desired.
• Typical candidate will have 5 years’ experience as a repair technician or machinist.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge for complex CNC repairs, machine installations, and maintenance.
• Experience with material handling, rigging, forklift operation, and hazardous waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery in team or solo work.
• Support Moog East Aurora production requirements; repair in a timely manner.
• Use Maximo CMMS to document work logs, inventory usage, and hours.
• Maintain PC skills as software updates are released.
• Stay current on new machine technologies through OEM training.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support acquisitions and training.
• Follow safety standards including LOTO, NFPA 70E, and hazardous material handling.
