Job summary

Moog is seeking a Mill Machinist for 2nd/3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will perform milling operations on complex parts for aerospace and defense programs, set up and operate a CNC Mill, and interpret drawings with precision.

Requirements include at least 1 year as a CNC Mill Machinist, and FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment. We offer a competitive pay range ($22.00–$37.00 hourly), 401k, profit sharing, and shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 1 year of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills and tracer-type milling machines.
• Set up and operate a CNC Mill.
• Make all set-ups using specified equipment.
• Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques.
• Interpret drawings and work with layouts; operate with minimal guidance.
• Inspect all work and detect unusual conditions and defects using inspection equipment.
