PHD Machining is seeking a senior-level CNC Lathe Machinist who can program, set up, and run precision parts with minimal supervision in our Santa Clara shop. If you can take a print and deliver quality parts on time, we want you on our team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years CNC lathe experience.
• Strong CNC programming skills.
• Expert blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Ability to work independently from print to part.
• Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
• Write and edit G-code at the machine
• Read complex blueprints and GD&T
• Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize cycle times
• Hold tight tolerances and ensure first-pass quality
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
