Job summary

Kinefac Corporation seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes at our Worcester, MA facility. You will produce precise die blanks and develop programs from engineering drawings to ensure parts meet manufacturing requirements for heat treatment readiness.

This on-site, full-time role offers a wage range of $31–$34 per hour. Candidates should have 3+ years of CNC lathe experience, familiarity with FANUC controls, and strong measurement skills using

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining and programming experience.
• Experience with Nakamura-Tome Slant-4B or similar FANUC controls is a plus.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Proficient in selecting tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes for cylindrical die blanks.
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code programs.
• Develop machining programs from drawings and specs.
• Determine machining sequences and methods for die blanks.
• Select tools, offsets, and machining parameters.
• Inspect parts during/after machining with precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot programming, machining, and tooling issues.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety and quality procedures.
