Senior CNC Field Service Technician (Finance)

Summary of Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Tsugami machine tool equipment, controls, and related components purchased by our customers. This role involves working on-site at various customer facilities in New England to deliver the highest quality and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities; perform preventative maintenance.
  • Detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.
  • Research machine issues using manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources.
  • Communicate machine issues, installation status, or repair updates to customers and document all activities accurately.
  • Ensure customer commitments are fulfilled to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on new developments and technology in the field.
  • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company.

Salary Range: $67,000 - $94,000 DOE + Overtime

Other Functions:

  • Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience helpful.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience repairing CNC machinery.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and CNC controls.
  • Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%, including some overnight stays.
