Job summary

Therm-x of California is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production equipment in a safe, clean environment. You will assist the facilities team with daily maintenance, safety and quality work orders, and upkeep of records.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, CNC repair, hazard identification, and improving equipment reliability. The role requires reading mechanical/electrical blueprints and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience on CNC machines or equivalent machinery.
• Ability to fabricate/repair using shop equipment.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and CNC machinery.
• Follow daily work schedules for PMs, corrective, safety and quality work orders.
• Inspect guarding and safety of equipment and identify hazards.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and document causes and solutions.
• Keep accurate records of parts usage, procedures and shift notes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with major project installs.
• Diagnose and repair CNC equipment.
