Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer IV in Greenville, SC, to lead CNC programming and process development for large-scale machinery. The role emphasizes hands-on programming using NX CAM, verification with Vericut, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive 5-axis programming experience, Renishaw probing routines, and a strong machinist background to set up and prove first-piece

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with graphical CAM system CNC programming.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAM preferred.
• Experience creating complex 5-axis CNC programs using CAM software.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with advanced machine controls, including macro programming/sub-routines, Renishaw probing routines, variable-based programming, and CLM.
• Strong hands-on machinist background with ability to set up and prove out first-piece programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, generate, and maintain CNC programs using NX CAM or similar CAM software.
• Support programming and process development for large VTLs, VBMs, gantry 5-axis machines, and vertical multi-purpose turn/grind equipment.
• Verify CNC programs prior to shop floor release using Vericut or equivalent simulation software.
• Create and maintain workstation instructions and process documentation.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
