Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CMP Equipment and Installation Engineer to setup, calibrate, and maintain precision polishing systems in a cleanroom environment. You will ensure installation meets strict specifications and is optimized for maximum yield and stability.

This on-site role requires 4+ years of commissioning/installation experience, hands-on hardware competency, and safety certifications (LOTO/OSHA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years in equipment commissioning, field service, or industrial maintenance.
• LOTO and OSHA safety training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain CMP polishing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and cleanroom standards.
• Hardware troubleshooting to minimize defects and maintain surface flatness.
• Coordinate commissioning and validation of facilities systems.
• Manage projects and timelines.
• Adapt to field conditions and solve problems on site.
