Job summary

Tessera is seeking a CMM Programmer & Quality Inspector III to join our Auburn, WA team. You will program, set up, and operate CMM equipment to verify designs meet engineering and regulatory specifications. You will perform complex inspections and support root-cause investigations while mentoring other inspectors.

The role requires extensive experience with CMM systems, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. A strong commitment to quality and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in CMM programming and operation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and test CMM programs based on 3D models and drawings.
• Set up and operate CMM to perform inspections.
• Analyze results and correct discrepancies in measurements.
• Mentor fellow inspectors and maintain quality documentation.
• Support AS9100 audits and ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102 requirements.
• Read drawings to determine measurement requirements and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow process instructions.
