CalTek Staffing seeks an experienced CMM Programmer/ QC Supervisor in Santa Clara, CA for a direct hire role with a $43–$50/hr compensation. The position combines CMM programming, dimensional inspection, and quality coordination in a precision shop serving aerospace, defense, medical, and semiconductor markets.

You will program Mitutoyo CMMs, perform inspections, read GD&T, and collaborate with machinists to ensure tight tolerances and high-quality parts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on inspection in a precision machine shop.
• Strong CMM programming with CMM Manager, PC-DMIS, or Calypso.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Detail oriented with good communication.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain inspection programs for Mitutoyo CMM using CMM Manager.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined components.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Choose inspection methods, setups, and tools to verify specs.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with machinists to resolve dimensional issues.
• Prioritize daily inspection needs to support production.
• Help improve inspection procedures and product quality.
