Job summary
Wise Plastics Technologies in Illinois is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our Quality team. You will program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS, perform First Article Inspections, and support new product launches.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CMM programming, strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills, and experience with Vision Systems; you will mentor technicians and collaborate with Engineering and customers on measurement solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CMM programming and dimensional inspection experience.
- Advanced PC-DMIS programming skills.
- Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills.
- Experience with Vision Systems.
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS
- Perform First Article Inspections
- Program and operate Vision Systems
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Support new product launches and APQP activities
- Recommend and develop gaging and fixture solutions
- Train and mentor Quality Technicians
- Partner with Engineering and customers on measurement solutions
