Job summary

Kelly Services in Pomona, CA is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to support a high-precision toolroom environment. You will develop and run CMM inspection programs, inspect complex components, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tight tolerances to 0.0001 inch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CMM programming experience.
• Strong experience with Zeiss CMM machines.
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS and Calypso.
• Advanced understanding of GD&T.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection methods.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and Calypso.
• Inspect machined parts, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and sheet metal components.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
• Verify true position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, hole locations, diameters, and other critical features.
• Create, validate, troubleshoot, and improve CMM programs.
• Maintain probe calibration and qualification routines.
• Perform surface-plate and bench inspections as needed.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve inspection and dimensional issues.
• Identify nonconforming material and support continuous quality improvement.
