Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer/Operator for our Detroit area automotive plant. You will operate and program CMMs and other measurement equipment, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and create measurement programs to validate part quality.

Responsibilities include planning operation sequences, reporting results clearly, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure conformance to specifications. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years combined experience and training as a CMM programmer/operator.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics, algebra and physics.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T to plan CMM programs.
• Set up and operate CMMs with PC-DMIS or PolyWorks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program a CMM and other measurement equipment.
• Analyze specifications, blueprints, and GD&T to create measurement programs.
• Execute measurement programs and validate part quality.
• Prepare detailed reports communicating measurement results.
• Plan sequences of operations and select appropriate fixtures.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues.
