Job summary

PRL Industries is seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector to develop CMM programs and perform complex inspections of precision-machined metal components. The role emphasizes mentoring less experienced inspectors and maintaining strict quality standards in defense manufacturing.

You will work with CMMs, FARO Arm, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and bore gages, interpreting GD&T from engineering drawings and documenting results.

Responsibilities

We're looking for someone who can develop CMM programs, perform complex inspections, mentor less experienced inspectors, and help maintain the high quality standards required for critical defense manufacturing.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Experience inspecting machined components in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience programming CMM equipment.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Preferred

• FARO Arm experience.
• Experience mentoring or training inspectors.
• Defense, aerospace, heavy manufacturing, or industrial machining experience.
