Job summary

DPI Inc. in Hatboro, PA is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support precision CNC machining operations. This is a hands-on shop-floor role requiring inspection of first-piece, in-process, and final parts against drawings and specifications.

You will read GD&T, tolerances, and customer requirements, use micrometers and calipers, and utilize CMMs as needed. You will document results and collaborate with machinists and the Quality Manager to ensure conformance and timely shipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and customer specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, bore gages, thread gages, pin gages, surface plates, and other precision measuring equipment
• Verify critical dimensions and features on CNC milled and turned components
• Complete inspection records and required quality documentation accurately
• Review parts against customer drawings and job travelers
• Identify and document nonconforming product
• Communicate dimensional or quality concerns directly with machinists and production personnel
• Assist with first article inspections and customer-specific inspection requirements
• Verify material, processing, and certification documentation when required
• Support final inspection and release of product for shipment
• Maintain proper product identification and traceability
• Assist with calibration and control of inspection equipment
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient inspection area
• Follow DPI quality procedures, AS9100 requirements, and ITAR-controlled work practices

Quality Inspector - Precision CNC Manufacturing

Full-Time | Day Shift

Pay: $26-$32 per hour, depending on inspection experience and demonstrated CMM programming ability.

Sign-on bonus: Up to $2,000, paid quarterly over the first year. Employees must be in good standing to receive each payment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

DPI Inc. is a precision CNC machine shop serving aerospace, defense, industrial, and other high-specification customers. We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support our machining and inspection operations.

This is a hands-on shop-floor inspection position. The Quality Inspector will work closely with machinists, production, and the Quality Manager to verify that manufactured parts meet customer drawings, specifications, and internal quality requirements.

Qualifications - Preferred

• Previous aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems
• Experience completing First Article Inspection documentation
• Familiarity with AS9102
• Experience with CMM inspection
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance CNC milled and turned components
• Familiarity with electronic inspection or gage-management systems

CMM programming experience is a plus and will be considered when determining starting pay.
